BY A STAFF REPORTER: Cupid is the ancient Roman god of love and a counterpart of the Greek god Eros. According to mythology, Cupid was the son of Mercury. Among the gods was a winged messenger and Venus was the goddess of love. Cupid often appears as a winged child carrying a bow and arrowheads. He is depicted wearing armor similar to that of Mars, the god of war. 

Although some literature portrays Cupid as brazen and callous. Here he is considered one of the worst characters. Cupid's crew's mother, Venus, was behind the incident.

One story shows that Cupid was used for revenge by a princess named Psyche. However, she later falls in love with Cupid and is considered Psyche Cupid's wife.
