This linguistic diversity of India reveals the cultural heritage of the country. The basis of every human being is language. India is one of the most linguistically diverse countries in the world, with more than 1,600 languages and dialects by its citizens.
Some of the important languages of India are Sanskrit, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Assamese, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Malayalam, Bengali, Hindi etc. However, the Sanskrit language has been almost lost in darkness with the passage of time. There are also a lot of tribal languages of India.
