Bengaluru, July 1 — Ahead of the crucial second T20I against England Women, senior Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana expressed confidence in the team’s form and praised newcomer Nallapureddy Charani for her impactful debut performance.

Speaking to the media, Rana highlighted the team’s positive start to the series and the desire to maintain momentum. “We are confident of the way we have started this series. We'll try to continue with the same momentum in the second game as well,” she said, reflecting a focused mindset in the Indian camp.

One of the biggest talking points from the series opener was the emergence of Charani, who impressed on debut. Rana lauded the young talent, saying, “She is a special talent. She had a dream debut, and I hope she continues to perform the way she has for India in the future as well.”

Rana also noted that pitch conditions could favour the Indian side, especially the spinners. “The pitches are flatter and are more helpful for the spinners this time around,” she observed, suggesting that spin could again be a decisive factor in the second match.
