Mohali, Punjab: As Indian cricketer Shubman Gill continues to make headlines with his on-field performances, his former coach Sukhwinder Tinku reflected on the young batter's early journey and growing stature in international cricket. Speaking from Mohali, Tinku shared insights into Gill’s disciplined approach and technical grounding, predicting that the best is yet to come.

“Shubman is just getting started. He will make more records,” said Tinku, who has closely observed Gill’s development from a young age. “What he is today is a result of his techniques. I prepare all my students technically, and Shubman understood the game very young.”

Tinku emphasized Gill’s ability to maintain composure under pressure, which he believes sets the foundation for long-term success in the sport. “He has always played with composure,” he noted, suggesting that this mental strength complements the technical skills he instills in his trainees.
