By Avideep Nandi Majumdar
In continuing to rebuild their squad, Chelsea have secured the signing of Roberto Sanchez from Brighton and Hove Albion. According to reports, the transfer fee is set to be of 25m pounds. Chelsea badly needed a goalkeeper reinforcement after loosing Senegalese international Edouard Mendy signed for Saudi Side Al Ahli this summer. After signing him, Paul Win Stanley and Laurence Stewart, co-sporting directors of Chelsea said Roberto has proved himself in the premier league and has been capped by the Spanish national football team. They are also excited to watch him train with coach and his coaching team. Since joining Brighton academy in 2013, he has made 87 appearances and was the first choice starter last season until the latter stages where in the last 15 games out of 16 he fell out of favour and made way for Jason Steele.
