Nathan Ake extends Manchester United stay

Dutchman Nathan Ake has decided to commit his future to Premier League Champions Manchester City as he has signed a 2 years contract extension. He had joined Manchester City in 2020 from then relegated side Bournemouth for 40m pounds. Since then he has established himself as a vital member of the squad and last season he made 41 appearences as Manchester City won the treble and ended their Champions League trophy drought. Speaking after signing the new deal, he exclaimed City as the best club of the world, he feels proud as a player, he feels the club demands excellence in every area and that provides him with the perfect environment to improve, and develop himself. He also praised Pepe Guadiola saying he is the best manager in football and a person who has made him see the game differently so he has a respect for him, both professionally and personally.
