Manchester City break Champions League Trophy drought

  The goal for Manchester City came in the 68th minute as Rodri, Manchester City midfielder finally scored as he turned in Silva's Cut back past two Inter players on the line.

Manchester City ended their Champions League trophy drought and also secured the treble as they defeated Italian Side Inter Milan at the Ataturk Olimpiyat on Saturday. 

In the 12.30 am (IST) Kickoff, the first chance of the match went to Bernado Silva in the 6th minute,  but his left footed strike travelled wide of the left post.  City got another chance in the 27th minute as Haalands left footed shot was repelled by Inter goalkeeper Onanas body. About 2 minutes later De Bruyne shot straight into the hands of the Inter goalie from the edge of the box. The first half ended with the score nil nil. Inter Milan, were finding it hard to create opportunities, but they got one in the 59th minute when a miscommunication between Defender Akanji and Goalkeeper of Manchester City Ederson enabled Lautero Martinez to snap the loose ball, but Ederson denied his countryman with a fine save.  The goal for Manchester City came in the 68th minute as Rodri, Manchester City midfielder finally scored as he turned in Silva's Cut back past two Inter players on the line. Almost 2 minutes later, Inter Milan almost equalized but due to bar post and bad luck they couldnt score. Dimarcos header hit the bar and his rebound struck Lukakau on the line, denying them the golden chance to have a route back into the game. Lukakau also got a chance in the 88th minute, but his header struck the knee of Ederson. Ederson finally secured Citys first Champions League trophy by spectacularly keeping out Gosens flick from Dimarcos corner in the last minute of added time.
