Liverpool appoint new captain and Vice Captain

Ahead of the new season, Liverpool have appointed a new captain and a vice captain- The captaincy duty was earlier occupied by Jordan Henderson. He,however has left the club to play in Saudi Pro League- A league who is attracting players from European Leagues. So Netherlands International Virgil Van Dijk has been appointed as the new captain, and James Milner used to be the vice captain, but he has also joined fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion. So he position has been taken over by midfield maestro Trent Alexander Arnold. Liverpool will hope to begin on a positive note when they will go to West London to face Chelsea in the opening fixture on 13th August.
