Liverpool make a bright start to the season

After a torrid last season where they missed out on Champions League Qualification, Liverpool has made a strong start to the season and has registered 3 wins out of 4 games. They started their campaign with a 1-1 draw at Chelsea and followed it up 3-1 win against Bournemouth. In their 3rd game against Newcastle United at St. James Park, they had to trail for a long period of time but their never say never attitude enabled them to snatch victory courtesy of 2 late Darwin Nunez finishes. In their last game, Aston Villa had arrived at Anfield brimming under confidence. However Liverpool strolled to a 3-0 victory courtesy of a stellar performance. Star player Mohammad Salah has made 10 goal and assist appearences consecutively in 10 games. So far this season he has scored 3 goals and registered 2 assists in 4 games. It is hoped that this season they will challenge for the title if the players can stay injury free and perform on a consistent basis.
