They had a goal unfairly disallowed due to a wrong offside call and a questionable red card was given to them, and against Arsenal was the only time they were beaten fair and square. They have got 60 points with a gd of 38. Courtesy of their thimpong win against Luton Town, they have extended their advantage over Manchester City to 4 points. It’s quite impressive that despite having a lot of players injured and out, Liverpool have been mostly been a force to reckon with, and have shown grit and determination when they have gone a goal down. They have refused to surrender to the pressure and adversities time and again this season. This attitude has taken them to the summit. They also have a carabao cup final against Chelsea on Sunday, and this will be the first of 4 trophies which Liverpool are targeting this season. Liverpool wants long serving manager Jurgen Klopp to sign of his Liverpool tenure with all trophies.
