Lautaro Martinez is an Argentinean player who plays for italian club Inter Milan. He had joined Inter Milan from Racing club in 2018, for a fee of 22.7m Euros. He made his debut in a 1-0 loss against Sassulo and scored his first goal in a 2-0 win against Cagliarim. He scored his first European goal in a win against Rapid Wien and scored his first derby goal against AC Milan in a 3-2 win enabling Inter to achieve a double over them for the first time since 2011-12. On 2th October 2019, he scored his first goal in Champions League in a 2-1 defeat at Barcelona. After scoring a brace against Slavia Prague, he became the 5th Argentenian to score in 4 consecutive games in Champions League. In the course of his Inter carrier he also scored a goal at Anfield, and also helped Inter win the Coppa Italia by scoring a brace in a 2-1 win against Fiorentina. He had also helped Argentina qualify for semi final in world cup by scoring the decisive penalty against Netherlands in the Quarter Final. With his assisting and goalscoring talent, it remains to be seen can he fill the void which will be left by Messi once the legend retires from international football.
