Kaoru Mitoma- Brighton and Hove Albion's Japanese sensation

Kaoru Mitoma opened his account in a 3-0 win against Forest Green in cup. He gave an assist to Trossard Leonardo in 5th minute in a 4-1 win at home against Chelsea at home.

Kaoru Mitoma is a Japanese midfielder who plays for Premier Leagues highflyers Brighton and Hove Albion. He had began his carrier at Kawasaki Frontale. He joined Premier League side Brighton in 2021, and was loaned to Union SG in the first year. He made 27 appearances, scoring 7 goals. He made his debut for the south coast side on 13th August, 2022 as a substitute  in a 0-0 draw against Newcastle at Amex. He opened his account in a 3-0 win against Forest Green in cup. He gave an assist to Trossard Leonardo in 5th minute in a 4-1 win at home against Chelsea at home. He scored his first goal for Brighton in the premier league in a 3-2 win against Wolves at Molineux, and also played a crucial role in setting up the winning goal. He scored the winning goal at home in the domestic cup in January. In that month he also scored a superb long range curled goal at King Power Stadium at Leicester City in a 2-2 draw. In his first season, he has attained praise and frame for his eye for goal and ability to dribble and glide past opponents.  Due to this he has also attracted the attention of big clubs  It remains to be seen whether he can replicate such superb form next season and attract more scouts.
