Kalidou Koulibaly joins Saudi Side Al Hilal

Senegalese Defender Kalidou Koulibaly has completed a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal. Following the switch, he has become the 3rd Chelsea player to go to a Saudi Arabian side after NGolo Kante and his compariot Edouard Mendy.

Senegalese Defender Kalidou Koulibaly has completed a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal. Following the switch, he has become the 3rd Chelsea player to go to a Saudi Arabian side after NGolo Kante and his compariot Edouard Mendy. He had joined Chelsea from Italian side Napoli in the summer of last year, and had also helped them to win the Italian cup in 2020.

On International level, he had helped his country win the African cup of Nations. However, last season he appeared for Chelsea in 32 games in all competitions, and for 23 games in Premier League, scoring only 2 goals. Taking to twitter, he expressed his happiness for wearing the jersey, and also expressed his regrets for a below par season, and concluded by thanking fans for continuous support throughout the season.
