West Ham United have recieved a blow in their bid to sign former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire as the Manchester based club has rejected a 25.8m dollars deal from the East London side. Manchester United are open to selling the disgraced defender but at a higher price. However it is unlikely the Hammers will again with an improved price. Maguire has had a torrid time at Manchester United, as his mistakes have led to opposition goals and has also been too slow to react. He has failed to show himself. He was stripped off captaincy by Erik Ten Hag just under a fortnight ago and had started only 8 times last season as Lisandro martinez and Raphael Varane has taken the central defensive partnership.
