Erik Ten Hag advice for Harry Maguire

Erik Ten Hag has said that Harry Maguire is a part of the team and has advised him to fight for his spot. He has also praised him by calling him a good centre back and he has potentiality to prove himself and fight his way into the team. He concluded by saying that he has the capability of a fighter. He had arrived from Leicester City in 2019 for a whopping fee of 80m and as a result of the price tag, much was expected from him. He was also given the captaincy role by then manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer. However his form dipped very badly and he became a target of memers. Many pundits also started criticizing and calling him out after continuous poor performances. After Erik Ten Hag came as a manager he began seeing less game time and last season he has made only 8 appearances. Recently he was also stripped off captaincy and has been linked with a move away as fellow English side West Ham United has a bid rejected by Manchester United.
