Daniel Bachmann signs new deal with Watford

Goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has signed a 5 years deal with Watford and has been named captain by the coach Valerien Ismael for 2023-24. He has been with Watdord since 2017 after signing from Stoke City. After appointing him the captain, coach Ismael said that he has been the longest serving player for Watcord and he specifically understands championship and said he knew Bachmann will step up to the challenge with the help of player leadership group. The coach has made a leadership group with Ben Hqmer, Wesley Hoedt, Jake Livermore, Imran Louza, Ken Sena and him in order to challenge for a Top flight return after relegation in 2021-22 season.
