Chelsea v Liverpool Cup Final

Avideep Nandi Majumdar: Chelsea and Liverpool will be looking to clinch their first silver wear as they will clash head-to-head at Wembley in London for EFL cup final. Liverpool, despite injuries are having a wonderful campaign and are sitting at the summit with 60 points and 4 clear of their nearest rivals Manchester City. EFL cup will be the first one they will be targeting. Chelsea, on the other hand are having, like last season a poor campaign and are languishing in the 10th position. Though they have shown grit and determination to draw 1-1 with Manchester City at Ethiad in their last match. Mauricio Pochettino is under immense pressure at Stamford Bridge and he will be looking at this cup to salvage some hope at Chelsea. The last meeting between these 2 sides at Anfield had ended 4-1 to Liverpool. Chelsea will be looking to produce some fight and take advantage of Liverpool's injury issues to register their first trophy if the season and ease some pressure on their Argentine manager. Liverpool on the other hand will be hoping to overcome increasing injury list to claim their 1st trophy of the season. Kick-off is on Sunday 25th February at 8.30 PM IST.
