Arsenal to sign Kai Havertz

By Avideep Nandi Majumdar: kai Havertz is set to join Arsenal from Chelsea after agreeing a 65 Euro million move, plus add ons. He is set to sign a long term deal at the club, in order to establish himself as a proper midfielder after having endured a frustrating 3 years at Chelsea,where he only scored 19 goals in 91 appearances.

He had arrived from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea in August 2020, for 72 million Euros, however he faltered after having to play as a central striker. His departure follows the exits of Ngolo Kante to Saudi Arabian Champions Al Ittihad and Mateo Kovacic to English Champions Manchester City, and this is a part of rebuilding of the squad that performed poorly and below expectations last season and finished midtable in the 12th position.
