Arsenal has made a second bid for Dutch based side Ajax defender Jurrien Timber as they are in need of strengthening their defence. The Gunners have already had a bid rejected by Ajax.

Arsenal has made a second bid for Dutch based side Ajax defender Jurrien Timber as they are in need of strengthening their defence. The Gunners have already had a bid rejected by Ajax. They want to sign him within this week, and according to Fabrizio Romano, talks are advancing between the clubs.

According to reports, Ajax are believed to be holding out closer to 40 m euros to sell him. Besides him, Arsenal are expecting to announce Kai Havertz signing, and they are also tracking Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia, in order to again challenge for the title next season and stabilise the club.
