West Bengal Postal Circle Announces BONGOPEX-2025, 10th State-Level Philatelic Exhibition in Kolkata

Kolkata: The West Bengal Postal Circle on Wednesday announced the 10th State-Level Philatelic Exhibition, BONGOPEX-2025, scheduled to be held from 14th to 17th November 2025 at Science City, Kolkata. The event promises to be a vibrant celebration of culture, heritage, and the art of philately.

A detailed prospectus for the exhibition was released today by Shri Ashok Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal Circle, in the presence of Shri Riju Ganguly, Postmaster General, South Bengal Region, Shri Supriyo Ghosh, Postmaster General (Mails & BD), and Dr. Hammad Zafar, Director of Postal Services (HQ), West Bengal Circle at Yogayog Bhawan, Kolkata. The prospectus provides participants with comprehensive information and timelines for engaging in the exhibition.

Earlier, on 23rd September 2025, a logo commemorating the 10th edition of the state-level exhibition was unveiled virtually by Smt. Vandita Kaul, Secretary (Posts), Government of India, in the presence of Shri Ashok Kumar.

BONGOPEX-2025 will be attended by dignitaries, postal officials, philatelists, and members of the public, offering them an immersive experience into the colorful world of stamps. The exhibition aims to showcase the heritage and cultural richness of Bengal, Sikkim, and Andaman, highlighting the creative and educational potential of philately for enthusiasts of all ages.
