West Bengal Min Shashi Panja Slams BJP for Sharing Maa Sharda Cartoon

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, West Bengal Minister and TMC leader Dr. Shashi Panja slammed Congress for sharing a 'Blasphemous' caricature of Maa Sharda on 17th February, Saturday. 

Moreover, she alleged that the BJP has hurt the sentiments of Bengal's people. She also accused the BJP of regularly attacking the historical idols of West Bengal. Panja further asserted that BJP will not be forgiven for this action.

The statement comes after BJP's Bengal unit shared a post on their social media handles depicting a cartoon of goddess Sharda. The post has received significant backlash for allegedly disrespecting the deity.
