We Faced Injustice: Pashupati Kumar Paras Resigns As Union Minister
Pashupati stated that he had resigned due to the alleged injustice he and his party faced by the NDA Alliance. He stated that only five MPs were on the list comprising 40 Bihar candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party President Pashupati Kumar Paras resigned as the Minister of Food Processing Industries on March 19, Tuesday.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pashupati Kumar Paras tendered his resignation from the union cabinet citing 'indispensable reasons'. Pashupati stated that he had resigned due to the alleged injustice he and his party faced by the NDA Alliance. He stated that only five MPs were on the list comprising 40 Bihar candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He further asserted that he worked with utmost sincerity.

Brother of late veteran politician Ram Vilas Paswan, Pashupati represents Bihar's Hajipur constituency in the Lok Sabha. He served as the Union Minister since 2021. He has also served as Bihar's Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources.
