WB CM Mamata Banerjee's emotional tweet on the Cyclone 'Remal' disaster

Cyclone 'Remal' almost destroyed many areas of the state. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted about that today to the people of the West Bengal.

By a staff reporter: Cyclone Remal is raging through the night. Cyclone Remal made landfall between Sagar Dwip and Khepupara in Bangladesh at midnight yesterday. Due to the impact of Cyclone 'Remal', heavy rains and strong winds have been blowing in different areas of West Bengal since this morning. Incidentally, rain is still continuing in various districts of the state. Heavy to very heavy rains in the districts of South Bengal today throughout the day. Heavy Cyclone Remal caused huge damage in several districts of the state. Many people in the coastal areas of the state have been affected by Cyclone Remal. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today tweeted emotionally about the damage caused by Cyclone Remal's landfall.

CM tweeted, “West Bengal is a riverine state on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. Every year, we have to face various natural disasters. This time, due to the impact of Cyclone Remale, our state has suffered a lot of damage. But above all, human life. Fortunately, and certainly due to the state administration's actions, the loss of lives this time is comparatively less."

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, "My sincere condolences to the families of the victims; financial assistance will reach their relatives immediately. The distribution of compensation for the damage to crops and houses will be looked into by the administration as per the law, and we will give more importance to these issues once the code of conduct for the elections is out." I will consider the whole thing.”
