Uttar Pradesh: PM Modi Set To Address A Rally In Saharanpur

 BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh on April 6, Saturday.

PM Modi will also hold a roadshow in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday afternoon. PM Modi launched his election campaign from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut on March 31, Sunday. Moreover, the Lok Sabha elections in Saharanpur will be held on April 19 and Ghaziabad will go to polls in the second phase on April 26. 

The BJP has nominated former MP Raghav Lakhanpal as its candidate from Saharanpur. He will be contesting against BSP's Majid Ali and Congress-SP Alliance's Imran Masood. 

Former MP Lakhanpal grabbed victory from the Saharanpur constituency in the 2014 elections. However, he was defeated by SP-BSP alliance candidate and incumbent MP Haji Fazlur Rehman in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
