Union minister RK Ranjan calls for change in leadership in Manipur

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Violence ridden Manipur has rejected the BJP led state government. The saffron party lost both the inner Manipur and our Manipur parliamentary constituencies and the state leadership is currently facing a rebellion.

Speaking exclusively with ANM News, former union minister of state for external affairs and inner Manipur MP, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh mentioned that state BJP President A Shardha Debi and chief minister N Biren Singh has to take responsibility for the loss.

Singh also joined the call for resignation of both and demanded that new leadership acceptable to all factions take over and be at the helm till the next assembly elections. ''We hav to pick up the bits and pieces and introspect. The leadership has to change,'' Singh said.
