There is nothing wrong with the BSF: Amit Shah

BY A STAFF REPORTER: TMC has repeatedly raised the issue of the effectiveness of the BSF in the border areas of the state. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has targeted the BSF several times during the Modi era. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to Bengal ahead of the panchayat polls.  The Union Home Minister on Tuesday launched a series of projects at the ICP Petrapole border. Amit Shah says, "The country is safe because of the BSF. There is nothing wrong with the BSF in protecting the border. We want strong infrastructure in the border areas. The benefits of welfare schemes have reached villages in border areas as in other parts of the country and we are also working towards improving connectivity among villages. ''
