TMC's Mamata Bala Thakur, Sagarika Ghose File Nominations For Rajya Sabha Polls

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Trinamool Congress Matua leader Mamata Bala Thakur and journalist Sagarika Ghose filed for Rajya Sabha elections from West Bengal in Kolkata on 15th February, Thursday.

Mamata Bala Thakur is a Matua Maha religious mother of the Matua Mahasangha Community who represents the Bangaon constituency. Furthermore, Sagarika Ghose is a prominent journalist who has worked with various reputable news organizations and is married to Rajdeep Sardesai.
