'TMC wanted to make Sheikh Shahjahan a candidate for the Lok Sabha elections' - BJP's big claim

Bengal BJP said, "Mamata Banerjee probably wanted to field Sheikh Shahjahan from Basirhat. A part of Basirhat is Sandeshkhali. But now that Shahjahan is in CBI custody, Trinamool candidate Haji Nurul Islam from Basirhat. A criminal equal to Shahjahan has been fielded. Mamata Banerjee is the Hindu of Bengal. Doing whatever it takes to humiliate and intimidate".

It should be noted that the candidate was announced by Trinamool yesterday. While the popular leader of Basirhat Haji Nurul Islam has been nominated from this seat by Trinamool. Since then, various allegations have been brought against Haji Nurul Islam by BJP. Note that the incident of Sandeshkhali is believed to have a big impact on the elections in Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency.
