TMC Leaders Take Out Shobha Yatra On Ram Navami In Howrah

On the occasion of Ram Navami, Trinamool Congress leaders took out a Shobha Yatra in Howrah, West Bengal on April 17, Wednesday. This comes after the Calcutta High Court declared Ram Navami a public holiday and also permitted processions in Howrah.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: On the occasion of Ram Navami, Trinamool Congress leaders took out a Shobha Yatra in Howrah, West Bengal on April 17, Wednesday.

The Shobha Yatra took out flags and banners for the Ram Navami. This comes after Calcutta High Court declared Ram Navami as a public holiday and also permitted processions in Howrah.

For the first time, Ram Navami has been declared as the official holiday in the state of West Bengal. Moreover, the Calcutta High Court on Monday gave a nod to Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Anjani Putra Sena to take out Ram Navami processions in Howrah under certain conditions on April 17, Wednesday.
