BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on Tuesday took a dig at TMC for Kunal Ghosh's latest remarks against ECI and alleged that TMC is habitual to illegal elections.
Responding to TMC leader Kunal Ghosh's remarks, Sukanta Majumdar asserted that ECI is a very powerful institution and not even the BJP can use it for their political gains. He further maintained that TMC is habitual to illegal and fake elections where rigging is a norm. He further accused TMC of complaining against institutions for trying to create and maintain a neutral environment.

The statement comes after former TMC General Secretary Kunal Ghosh accused the BJP of controlling the Election Commission of India and monitoring their jobs. Furthermore, the Election Commission of India on Monday ordered the removal of West Bengal Director General of Police, Rajeev Kumar, and appointed Vivek Sahay as the DGP of Bengal ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
