BY A STAFF REPORTER: West Bengal Minister and TMC leader Shashi Panja on Friday stated that the party leaders are likely to meet the Election Commission of India on Monday and express their concerns regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Shashi Panja revealed that the party leaders sought an appointment and may meet the full bench of ECI on Monday. She also expressed that the party was concerned about a few issues in West Bengal during the election. Hence, they see the Chief Election Commissioner as the only option to share their concerns. Panja further alleged that NIA, CBI, and ED may be used to perturb candidates engaged in election campaigns and other works while the Model Code of Conduct has been enforced. Panja also accused the BJP-led Central Government of using such agencies as a political tool to perturb the opposition parties and not any BJP leader.

Shashi Panja also informed the presspersons that top TMC leaders Derek O'Brien and Sagarika Ghose will participate in the INDIA Bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest on March 31.
