Tamil Nadu: PM Modi Slams DMK, Congress During Vellore Rally
While addressing a rally, PM Modi mentioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Shakti' remark and claimed that DMK shares a similar ideology against Shakti and Sanatan Dharma. He further accused DMK of splitting people based on region, religion, and caste.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi came heavily upon the DMK and Congress party and called them 'anti-Tamil' in Vellore, Tamil Nadu on April 10, Wednesday.
While addressing a rally, PM Modi mentioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Shakti' remark and claimed that DMK shares a similar ideology against Shakti and Sanatan Dharma. He further accused DMK of splitting people based on region, religion, and caste. He also stated that there are three criteria for joining DMK, family politics, corruption, and anti-Tamil culture. Moreover, PM Modi mentioned Jaffer Sadiq's case, an expelled DMK leader who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

PM Modi, as an MP from Kashi, invited the people of Tamil Nadu to make Kashi Tamil Sangam more glorious. He further invited the people to Saurashtra-Tamil Sangam as he was born in Gujarati and many families from Gujarat reside in Tamil Nadu.
