Swati Maliwal Assault: Video Clip Featuring Incident Released

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Days after the incident, a short video of 51 seconds was released on Friday allegedly showing AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal engaging in an altercation with cops deployed at Arvind Kejriwal's residence.

The short clip was shot in the living room of Arvind Kejriwal's residence. In the video, Swati Maliwal was reportedly seen warning the bodyguards against calling the police. Moreover, Delhi Police has taken cognizance of the video. However, they have yet to verify the authenticity of the clip.

Rajya Sabha MP and former Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal was brutally assaulted by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's PA Bibhav Kumar in his residence on May 13. The Delhi Police registered a case against Kumar in connection with the assault on Maliwal. The Delhi Police also recorded Swati Maliwal's statement under section 164 of CrPC today.
