Kolkata, West Bengal: Leader of Opposition in West Bengal and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari made scathing allegations against the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Speaking on contentious issues, Adhikari accused the TMC government of indulging in vote-bank politics and offering protection to specific communities at the expense of others.
"All the radical forces here are ministers," Adhikari alleged, citing examples of TMC leaders. "Siddiqullah Chowdhury supported the arrest in the Khakhra blast incident. Firhad Hakim made statements about increasing the population to take control of Bengal and the country."
Adhikari further polarized the debate by stating that the BJP secured votes from Hindus and tribal communities, while the TMC relied heavily on Muslim voters. "Mamata Banerjee and her administration are giving protection to Rohingyas," he added, accusing the state government of harboring illegal immigrants and jeopardizing national security.
