Sukhendu Sekhar Roy Expresses Doubts Over CBI Probe in RG Kar Hospital Case

Kolkata: TMC leader Sukhendu Sekhar Roy has expressed skepticism regarding the CBI's involvement in the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape-murder case. He mentioned that after the police case diary was reviewed, the Chief Justice expressed dissatisfaction, leading to the court ordering a CBI probe. However, Roy pointed out that several previous CBI investigations across the country have failed to yield results.

"We have no trust in the CBI based on past experiences," Roy said. He added that a positive outcome could be expected if the High Court closely monitors the CBI investigation, ensuring accountability and thoroughness in the case.
