CV Ananda Bose stated "I am aware of that. Strong action will be taken. This tendency to intimidate investigative agencies is deplorable, will not be allowed, cannot be allowed. We will deal with it with an iron hand."

Earlier today, Sleuths of NIA faced violent protests at Bhupatinagar while conducting raids in connection with the December 2022 blast case in which three people were killed. An NIA official suffered minor head injuries and their vehicles were also vandalized. However, the NIA arrested two key conspirators during the raids.
