Special trains will run on special occasions, check the list

Indian Railways runs various special trains during the festive season. Some special trains will also run on the occasion of Chhat Pujo. All those trains were run on different routes. After Durga Puja, Navratri, Diwali, now Chhata Puja.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Thousands of people are looking forward to participate in the festival. As a result, there is no place to hold moles in the trains during this time. Eastern Railway has decided to run special trains keeping in mind this additional pressure of passengers. Eastern Railway will run two special trains from Howrah to Patna and Gaya on the occasion of Chhath Puja. 

Howrah-Patna Special Train (Via Dankuni) will run on 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 29th and 30th November. On these days, the special train will leave Howrah station at 5:30 am and reach Patna station at 1:50 pm. On the same day, the train will leave Patna station at 2:40 pm and enter Howrah station at 11 pm. On up and down route the train will stop at Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, JCD stations.

On the other hand, the Howrah-Gaya special train (Via Dankuni) will run on November 20, 24 and 27. On these days it will leave Howrah station at 6:50 am and reach Goa at 2:30 pm. On the same day, the return route will depart from Gaya at 3:20 PM. That train will arrive at Howrah at 11 pm. The train will stop at Burdwan, Durgapur and Asansol stations on the way up and down. These special trains will have only AC chair cars.
