Slain Migrant Labourer's Last Rites To Be Performed In Bihar

A day after his death, deceased labourer Raja Shah will be brought to his hometown in Bihar from Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir for his last rites on April 18, Thursday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A day after his death, deceased labourer Raja Shah will be brought to his hometown in Bihar from Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir for his last rites on April 18, Thursday.

Rajoun Circle Officer Kumari Sushma shared that the authorities have been asked to assist the kin of the deceased during his last rites. She further revealed that Shah's body would be brought to Banka from Anantnag. 

The victim's mother stated that Raja Shah was her younger son who was set to visit her on April 30. However, her grandson and Raja Shah's son informed her about Shah's death over a phone call last night. She further claimed that there's no one to look after them as Raja Shah was killed. 

In a tragic incident, Raja Shah, a migrant labourer from Bihar's Banka, was shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday evening. After being critically injured, Raja Shah was brought to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries shortly.
