BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, BKM (Charuni) leader Gurnam Singh Churani on Friday revealed that SKM and SKM (non-political) will likely form a common committee for the ongoing farmers' protest.
Charuni stated that farmers led the protest in a disorganized manner as some of them prematurely and hastily started the protest. Therefore, the core committee came up with the decision to urge SKM and SKM (non-political) to form a common committee. Gurnam Singh Charuni stated that the common committee will facilitate boosting the morale of the people and significantly impact the government.

Furthermore, BKU leader Balbir Singh Rajewal on Thursday announced that 23rd February (today) will be observed as a 'Black day' in response to the death of the farmer.
Reportedly, a protester named Shubh Karan Singh lost his life due to firing during a clash between farmers and police at Khanauri border. However, the Haryana police have categorically denied the accusation.
