Situation Under Control: TMC's Kunal Ghosh On Sandeshkali Violence

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, Trinamool Congress' State General Secretary Kunal Ghosh assured that the situation concerning Sandeshkali Violence is under control on 10th February, Saturday.

Moreover, he informed that the allegations were personal and not against the government. According to the state Secretary, a Zila Parishad member of TMC has been suspended for six years. Ghosh accused Congress, BJP, and CPI-M of instigating the residents. Following this, a four-member committee was formed on the directions of Mamata Banerjee which has sent their primary report regarding the matter.

The residents staged extensive protests against TMC leader Shahjahan Shaikh and his associates alleging sexual violence and capturing of their land. Internet services have been shut down in the region with a ban on gatherings of more than 4 people.
