Sidhant Mohapatra, Damayanti Beshra, Bhartruhari Mahtab Join BJP

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, former BJD leader Sidhant Mohapatra, BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, and Padma Awardee Damayanti Beshra joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on March 28, Thursday.

Odia Actor Sidhant Mohapatra represented the Behrampur constituency in the parliament till 2019. Moreover, Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab resigned from the party on March 22. Also, Damayanti Beshra is a renowned Santali author and tribal researcher honored with Padma Shri in 2020.

Furthermore, Damayanti Beshra and Sidhant Mohapatra also met with BJP National president JP Nadda in Delhi shortly after joining the party.
