BY A STAFF REPORTER: Shortly after the announcement of the Lok Sabha Schedule, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday criticized the 'Seven Phases' system and emphasized that it is not beneficial for the country.
Kharge stated that the seven-phase process will stop nearly all development works for around 70-80 days. He further stressed that the process will hinder the country's progression as the election code of conduct will restrict the movement of people, material supply, and budget expenditure. He emphasized that the election could be completed in three phases.
