BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a controversial statement, Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma slammed Trinamool Congress and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for the Sandeshkali situation on 20th February, Tuesday.
Furthermore, Sarma remarked that the violence-hit Sandeshkali will result in the downfall of CM Mamata Banerjee and TMC. Moreover, he also alleged that the whole Sandeshkali incident, especially the atrocities on the women, was all in the knowledge of the WB government.

Furthermore, West Bengal Assembly's LoP and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari also visited unrest-hit Sandeshkali today and described the situation as 'horrific' with complete 'lawlessness'. He was granted permission to visit Sandeshkali by the Calcutta High Court on 19th February.
