Salman Khan Attack Case: Accused Sent To Police Custody Till April 25

The two accused, who reportedly fired gunshots outside Salman Khan's residence, hail from Champaran, Bihar, and are associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Sagar Gupta is the main accused who pulled the trigger outside Khan's residence.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Killa Court on Tuesday granted the custody of Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, accused in the Salman Khan firing incident, to Mumbai Crime Branch for nine days on April 16, Tuesday. 

The Mumbai Crime Branch demanded a 14-day custody of the two accused. However, the court demanded a nine-day custody.

The two accused, who reportedly fired gunshots outside Salman Khan's residence, hail from Champaran, Bihar, and are associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Sagar Gupta is the main accused who pulled the trigger outside Khan's residence. The shooters used a sophisticated weapon. Moreover, the shooters reportedly conducted a reconnaissance around Salman Khan's residence thrice before executing the attack.

Shortly after the incident, the shooters bolted to Gujarat via public transport. Subsequently, they drowned the weapon in a river in Surat and reached Bhuj. 

The Gujarat Police nabbed the two gunmen from Kachchh, Gujarat on Tuesday. Subsequently, they handed over the two accused to Mumbai Police. The shooters were flown down to Mumbai afterward.

Two shooters fired gunshots outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence 'Galaxy Apartments' in Mumbai at around 4:00 AM on April 14, Sunday. Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the incident.
