Unakoti Book Launch Event

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Unakoti Novel, authored by Saheli Mitra, was unveiled at the Middleton Art Gallery in Kolkata, West Bengal on 2nd March, Saturday.

Moreover, 'Unakoti-Rock Art Sculptures of Tripura' aims to thoroughly explore the history and mystery of the 7th century Shaiva Site's creation, which is situated in Tripura's Unakoti. Furthermore, the site is expected to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site soon.

A few local tribals discovered the site in remote hilly areas of Tripura and began Tantric Worshipping of numerous deities engraved on the rocks. Unakoti means 'One less than one crore gods and goddesses'. The novel is published by Shubhi Publications.
