By A STAFF REPORTER: The Rath Yatra is a sacred occasion, symbolizing faith, unity, and reverence for the divine.
This auspicious festival was celebrated in the Primary section of BGKV on 8th July, 2024 by the students and teachers, with great sanctity and devotion. It was declared a 'Bagless Day' for the students of the primary section.Students got the opportunity to pull the 'Rath' or the decorated chariot of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra.
The entire campus echoed with the chants of 'Jai Jagannath', accompanied by the blowing of conch shells and the playing of brass gong bells.
All the students participated enthusiastically in various activities to celebrate the occasion. The celebration ended with the distribution of 'Prasad' to all the students. The young minds were enlightened about the importance of the festival, through animated stories on the smart board.
