BY A STAFF REPORTER: Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar condemned the sexual harassment case involving JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna while taking a jibe at the Congress-led Karnataka government for alleged inaction on April 30, Tuesday.
Chandrashekhar asserted that the party has zero tolerance towards crime against women. He further claimed that the Karnataka government possessed evidence against Prajwal Revanna but didn't take any action. Moreover, Chandrashekhar questioned why Congress is showing double standards when it comes to crime against women. He also accused Congress of politically and selectively choosing crime to support or condemn.

Earlier today, the JD(S) suspended Hassan MP and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's grandson Prajwal Revanna. He is also NDA's candidate for the 18th Lok Sabha elections. However, Prajwal Revanna left the country and fled to Germany after the allegations surfaced.
