BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan directed the removal of all the Congress members who were standing and raising slogans in the assembly in Chandigarh on 6th March, Wednesday.

However, Congress MLA Sandeep Jakhar was not removed from the assembly. Members of the assembly were sloganeering and creating a ruckus. Subsequently, Kultar Singh Sandhwan ordered Marshal Law and directed all standing Congress members except Sandeep Jakhar to leave the assembly.

The Punjab Assembly also witnessed a chaotic atmosphere on 4th March as Punjab CM and AAP leader Bhagwant Mann got into a heated altercation with Congress MLA and LoP Pratap Bajwa over Mann presenting a padlock to the speaker to keep the opposition leaders in the house premises during the session.
