Bose stated that his two priorities will be to ensure violence and corruption-free elections in Bengal. He further assured that he would be available for the people. Referring to last year's local election clashes, CV Ananda Bose asserted that political 'Holi' with human blood will not happen in the state.

Furthermore, the Election Commission of India is set to announce the schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in a live stream across all social media platforms around 3:00 PM today.
West Bengal witnessed large-scale violence and clashes between members of prominent political parties including TMC, BJP, and CPI-M during local elections in July 2023. The incident led to significant destruction of properties, injuries, and deaths.
