Moreover, the developmental projects aim to foster growth in various sectors including infrastructure, rail, and roadways. Predominantly, this comprises the doubling of railway lines from Jorhat, Assam. Furthermore, PM Modi also inaugurated the statue of Lachit Borphukan in Jorhat.
